Editorial Policy
This page explains how we research and publish the pricing guides on this site, and what we won't do to make an article look more authoritative than the underlying research supports.
We source from official listings first
Where possible, we base figures on Crunch's own checkout pages and club listings rather than aggregator sites repeating each other's numbers. When we use a real example — like a specific club's checkout total — we say which club and when we checked it.
Ranges over false precision
Crunch is a franchise system, so one club's price isn't every club's price. We publish ranges and label them as ranges instead of presenting a single number as universal, because that's what the underlying data actually supports.
We date our claims
Every guide carries a last-updated date. When we revise a number, we re-check it against a current source rather than editing it from memory, and we note when something is time-sensitive (like a promotion) rather than permanent.
No fabricated numbers, reviews, or experiences
We don't invent prices, quotes, statistics, or first-hand experiences to make an article feel more complete. If we can't verify something, we say so or leave it out.
No pay-for-placement
We aren't paid by Crunch Fitness or any competitor to rank them favorably, and nothing on this site is sponsored placement dressed up as independent advice.
Corrections are welcome
If you find an error — a price that's changed, a policy we've misstated — we want to know. See our Contact page. We review correction requests against current sources and update the page, rather than leaving mistakes uncorrected.
